    Volunteers

The volunteers in the schools of Escambia County are people who are committed to making schools the best they can be. Our volunteers offer special attention and care that can inspire students to reach for, and realize, their dreams.

Opportunities are provided for individuals to share their time, talents, and their experiences with our students.  School volunteers work at the school of their choice and participate in activities that match their interests, such as designing bulletin boards, working with art classes, helping out in the office, or media center, or serving as a classroom assistant. The opportunities are endless!

    HOW TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER

    • If you already know which school you would like to assist, please call the school's main office and ask to speak to their Volunteer Coordinator.

    • If you need information to find the right fit, please feel free to call the District’s Community Involvement Office at 850-469-5676.  We can help steer you in the right direction.  There are plenty of interesting ways to make a difference, whether volunteering for one event or volunteering on a regular basis.

    • Each school will require you fill out a Volunteer Application and an Affidavit of Good Moral Character.  You may find the forms on the Community Involvement page. After the documents are processed, someone from the school will contact you.
